Here is A UNIQUE t-type lowrider... Now before you guys get mad, this car was found rusted out and badly damaged, it was restored in hopes of turning it into a mid-custom car, but instead they decided to turn it into a lowrider

Look at it this way. They DIDNT go to the crusher. That in itself is cool.

I like it... Any genre of car done tastefully and with attention detail gets my approval. I remember when ur friend posted his build on here. That car was built in florida correct? Didn't he sell it though?

ps I'm on my phone. So I apologize for any misspellings or missed words.

As long as it didn't go to the crusher then that's cool. I also think the low rider clubs put more money and craftsmanship into their cars than anyone I know. They love their cars and what they do and it shows in all the trophy's they receive. Not what I would do but I respect the work and dedication that goes into the Low riders.

SW.

I like the red and black colors but the suspension is a little over the top for me. Glad one was salvaged though. You're right about the lowriders Scott. They do try to take care of their cars. It takes a lot of dedication to figure out how to do that to a car.

Thank You from a Lowrider Guy:D

yeah people are telling me to turn my 83 t-type into a lowrider, its a LOT of work especially when boxing frames, but its a cool hobby and people who own lowriders take pride, respect, and care of thier cars:smile:

Don't agree with the suspension set up. I'm from the old school crowd I guess. I hate any Low Low that has extended upper arms (even though they say you can hop better and take the stress out of the front end). I love the butterfly look when locked up. Please tell me it doesn't roll on china's. I agree with everyone, as long as it didn't go to the crusher.

nice

seems like everyone has their 02 about cars, i am hispanic and went to school in an area that was dominated by them as far as ratio to other races. my only issue with that is if it's not done right then you really screw up the car. as for the red one it looks like it was done right. for me i don't care for it as i would rather have something that wouldn't bounce around like a jumphouse when i drive it and have 80-100 lbs of batteries in the trunk.

Just remember that if you decide to do it the value will be shot. It's a very limited market and you'll never get out what you have in it.

yeah I know... thats why i'm going to get another car to do it with... I was thinking either a 1961-1964 corvair spyder, a buick roadmaster, a 1966 cadillac, a 64 impala 4 door, a cadillac Euro, a 1970 cadillac coupe deville, a 70's chevy impala, an old Lincoln Continental,a pontiac firebird, 1 1999 Lincoln Continental or an SS monte carlo. just to trigger my curiosity... I like the corvair spyder idea. It would look something like this... but with wire rims

Second choice would be a 70's year lincoln like this

and the last is a caddy

I hope to do an internship at a lowrider shop nearby soon.
