Just got my car back from restore job. My son was cleaning out the garage (needing money of course) he calls me at work and ask if he could back the car out and I said okay forgetting that I had removed the air filter (k&n type) for cleaning. He calls back saying the car would just barely run and I remembered that I removed the filter. I don't know about all hot air's but mine will not run without the air filter. So yesterday I put the filter back on and the car won't start at all. Tried clearing the computer and putting the stock chip in and no luck. The plugs are old and need changing anyway so i'm going to do that next. Any other ideas?

Thanks for any help.
Tim  It won't run but it's a pretty bastard!

If it cranks over but doesn't start.
I would check the fuses, then the crank sensor.
Might of blown a fuse or sheared off the crank sensor.

Hard to beat AC's.
Sure your getting fuel?
Should be able to turn the key on and hear the pump.
If you have a fp gauge make sure you have pressure.

It is getting fp, I can here the pump and I checked the valve on the fuel rail. I havn't checked pressure but I will. Will your car run without a air filter? What #AC plug?

Should run without the filter.
Could be a MAF problem but should start.
