The waste gate bypass hole measures at .960 on my ta49 that I am about to install. I been reading that the bigger the waste gate hole the more surface area the exhaust back pressure has to push on, the more spring tension the waste gate actuator needs to control boost thus can cause boost loss at high rpm's.Will I have any problems with this, my motor is all stock internally with the exception of 100lbs valve springs.I am also running a Dutt neck intercooler.Thanks,ikle.
