What is the difference between a TA and a TE turbo?

TA: Has Stock appearing, bolt-on inlet bell
TE: Has inlet bell cast onto the front of the turbo.

The compressor wheel is a 44mm ....

So it looks like there is not a real big diffference between a ta 49 and a te 44

Cool. One thing I gatta know Kevins. How do you pull off a 15# launch

(1) Clip first light, step on brake hard
(2) Bring up boost
(3) "Stutter" car into the box to trip the 2nd light
(4) Bring boost to 15, wait for green
(5) Let go of the brake and mat the gas

...that's pretty much how my wife does it.
