Ta33/ta49/te44

From what I have read these are all the same compressor and turbine wheels on these three turbos. So is the power output capability only higher because of a more efficient compressor housing and if so can I run a ta49 or te44 compressor housing on my te33 since I am running an intercooler? Thanks .

The 44/49 uses a t04e 60 compressor wheel. The TE33 uses a smaller compressor wheel. You cant just change the compressor housing. The 49 uses a stock compressor housing which in some cases when used with a stock back plate isnt the most efficient setup.

Same turbine Garrett stage 3. I'm not positive but I think it uses a t04e 57 trim compressor
