What is the max boost you can get out of a TA49 Turbo

I suppose you could probably get about 40 - 50 pounds of boost out of it, if you REALLY wanted...
On both of my cars, I've found the TA-49 to provide great numbers up to around 27-28 pounds of boost, with a stock intercooler. Beyond that, more boost didn't seem to provide appreciably more power. With a more efficient intercooler, you may be able to get 30 USEFUL pounds of use.

Thanks for the info. I have a 87 with a Spearco Intercooler 3" Downpipe, hooker Exhaust and K&N Filter. I bought the car 2 months ago with 53,000 miles on it and love it. But like most of us I want to go a little faster so I was considering the TA49 and ALKY-KIT.
