just got a autometer tach and tried to hook it up got power got ground and that green wire behind the alternator is not workn is there somewhere else to hook up the signal wire thanks

Try tapping the est circuit. It's the white wire on the ignition module.

there are two white wire

I think the wire is white with a green connector.

Verify you have the right one first, double check the install instructions for proper hookup, jumpers to set, etc.
