did a search but came up short. whats involved in takeing apart the rear-end any step by step procedures? pulling the axels, gears ect. thinking of haveing the housing powdercoated. What are your thoughts on the powdercoat on the housing, is anybody elses? thanks.

You'll need to strip the rear completely and remove the races for the pinion. Get the axles out, remove the bolts holding the carrier in, then with a big prybar you pry the carrier out. At this point you need an impact to get the pinion nut off, then you drive the pinion out. The pinion races are a pain to get out and you'll need a long punch to do it. Contact rmar on the board for more info, he does powder coating and should be able to give you a better idea of what you need to do.
If you've never put one back together take it to some one that has so it'll be done right.

Jest did Bent6's new Moser (nice). if you can't or feel you shouldn't do it bring it down...
