I just read a thread that said something about the tamper proof throttle screw? Well, i have been having a problem with idling, and sputtering whtn getting on the gas, and such. I think we found the problem being the o ring is ripped on that adapter between the turbo and intake. WEll, it was idling at about 1200, so i backed it down to 1000.

Is this bad? haha

well i don't know if it's really detrimental per se, but it's ignoring the problem, which is the vacuum leak. lots of times they will idle high and rough with a big leak.

Well, we THINK the "leak" is the oring thats ripped. We're not really ignoring it, i just did that before we found out about it. Im gonna have another here in about an hour.

Just got home with my new turbo, ported intake, injectors, and chip. MAN im happy as can be!!!!!!! This turbo is basically brand new, the intake is ported, along with the elbow for the turbo, and the injectors and chip seem to be in good condition. Cant wait to get all this on.

Hey, what size would you say this turbo in reality is. He sent a stock turbo, and a ta61, something like that, to limit engineering, and had them use the 61 center section, and mill out the intake and exhaust side to fit it. Says its a little more flow than a ta33, but what size would be comparable to this in reality???
