Hello all,
I'm Jordan. I've been a lurker for for the last year while I've been looking for a TB. I finally picked one up on New Years Day. Its an 87 Turbo T T-top that was white with grey bucket seats and low options (G80, W02, concert sound, rear defog, no pwr acc, crank windows). It went through a complete cosmetic restoration in early 2010, stripped to bare metal and changed to GM Dark Red Met. Mechanically stock aside from vac brake conversion, ATR cat and ATR 2.5in Pit Bull exhaust. Car came with just about every receipt from the original owner including the dealer order form, delivery transporter and inspection docs, window sticker, loan application, warranty docs, everything. Currently the motor is apart to have the rod bearings replaced. Number 1 rod bearing spun after previous owner replaced the oil pump. May wind up dropping another motor in but we'll see. Be ready for lots of questions . Some pics right off the trailer. Car needs a good detailing and I'll need to find correct blackout bezels, corners, and install some badges.

Hello Jordan! Welcome to Turbobuick.com!!!

Thanks for the welcome. Already caught the so called "sickness". My parts wanted list is growing by the minute.

Thanks! Update on progress; put all new rod bearings in and the knock is gone but there are other issues such as piston slap on #1, loose rocker on #5 or #6, and timing chain is loose and hitting the timing cover I think. Luckily, I'm picking up a .030 4.1 to swap in . I'm hoping to have the new motor in along with a few other things by late Feb early April at the latest. This is my first TB so it will be a learning experience but I think I'm up to the challenge.
