hey guys, my dad built a sandrail with a 86 riviera motor in it. It was a bone stock hot air setup till last year when we put headers and a air/water intercooler on it and tried turning the boost up to 14psi. Well the stock turbo freshly rebuilt by garret only lasted about 3-4 trips usually running 8-10psi. So my dad wants to go ball bearing now but garret says since this car has the TB before the turbo that it will create too much vacuum and kill the seals in the turbo. So my question is can we just move the TB into positive pressure in one of the intercooler lines and be ok?
