I just diagnosed my transmission with a faulty lock-up. I went under the car and unplugged it couse it sucked to drive when it mess-up. I always since I bought the car had a shudder @70mph or above. I had the transmission rebuilt last year. AND I also had the Drive shaft balanced and such. Also had the new tires and wheels balance. All of this only made the vibration in diffrent speeds on when it would do the shudder or vibration. BUT SINCE I have unplugged the TCC Switch the Vibration is gone. NOW WHAT do I do to fix this? any Ideas? I have yet to rpelce the switch I have appointment with the tranny shop on monday. SO I still have the bad switch in there now. I would like some Ideas thanks.

You probably have a miss or balance in the engine problem that is amplified by coupling the engine direct via TCC. Unlocking it allows some slip and masks the problem. My bet is its not a trans problem at all.

ARE YOU WAYNE?

put a new tcc solenoid in or bring it to me, i don't charge much

later,steve

Yeas Steve Its ME!

lol
But anyways Had master transmisson install a new tcc lock up and he inspected the driveshaft and it is the culprit. He reffered me to get a new tube installed. He had also installed diffrent springs into the Governer and It shifts Sweet as **** now. 2nd gear chirpies easy now. Chirp Chirp. :D

I replaced my TCC solnoid and 2 pressure switches last month. Jacked the car up and used a plastic high/wide enough box to catch the fluid. Changed the filter while I was at it. Took pics too.
