as i cruise down the parkway at 60, i test for the TCC, so I tap the brakes while keeping the foot on the gas and the rpms dont jump up. Before it used to. Must be the TCC not engaging? What other things affect the TCC? I want to chase this stinkin problem asap. Whats the first thing I can troubleshoot? I also read that the brake switch can affect it if it goes bad. How do I troubleshoot the brake switch?

Check that the switch is closed by the pedal when it is fully released. If the switch doesn't close, the tcc thinks you have your foot on the brake. Wire in a switch to control lockup and see what happens. Mine wouldn't lockup for awhile after I put the new converter in but evidently it was sticking cause it started locking after 30 mins of driving and has been fine since.

what else can i check on? Is there a way to test the TCC too to see if its bad?
