any one on the board run this combo and what are your experences,whats the sweet spot,ect........................

that's what i'm running now, but i can't get my boost over 23 psi to tell you where the sweetspot could possibly be if it's higher than 23. right now the car is an animal to me, could be faster, but i need a high boost actuator. check my signature!
 
I have a 49 and have gotten 25 lbs on it with 94 octane and alchy.

Seems pretty fast to me :)
 
25-26 lbs of boost on alky seems to pull hard. I gotta get to a dyno to see what exactly makes more power.

peterkin- why don't u just run a bleeder valve?

Pretty sure Razor has his up to 26psi on methanol with a TE44, I'm sure he will chime in.
 
I've hit 23 pounds so far with some good timing (25/23). Car tends to go leaner on the top end (no knock though). I have to put in the 50's I got as I think the blue-tops are having trouble keeping up. I'm thinking with that kind of boost the sweet spot can't be far away.
 
94 octane with alky = 26lbs. of boost 23/21 timing TE44 turbo.

I run its brother.. PT51

Sweet spot..the higher the boost the sweeter it is ;)

Air temps play a big role with boost levels, as the boost rises so does the air temps coming out of the turbo.. a TE44 will max out according to literature in the 28 psi range..thats before intercooler..after intercooler I would say 25-26 if you run it higher, you'll have to really up the alky to bring those temps down.

42 lbs line off...tune tune tune.. lean is mean..rich is slow..get it lean without knock..watch the ET drop :D
