well we never had luck with Vigilante's .. :rolleyes: here are 2 others you may want to throw in the mix.. 9/11 with LU .. kinda pricey like the others.. Pat's LU ..best bang for the buck and very reasonable :cool:
We ran a 44 for years with the stock motor and stock converter.. BUT it was only a mid 11 sec car.

Mid 11's with an all stock engine is quite impressive.I have alot more mods except for the stock cam.
 
The converter is generally rated at where you see 0psi on the footbrake, mine is 2800rpm but with the transbrake I can easily get 3600rpm and 10psi with the TA49.

The reason you get the 5 disc over the single is so in 3rd gear at 85mph you have the chip command for it to lock up and allow 100% of the power to go to the rear wheels.

You don't need more than a 2800rpm 0psi stall with the smaller turbos. You also have to consider that the Precisions are not very efficient unlocked, so you'd want to lock it in 3rd to make up for that. You can lock the single disc, but you're not going to get as many passes out of it vs the 5 disc of course.

Would I have to switch back to my 3.42 gear's so my engine doesn't over rev and at 85 is that when 3rd gear kicks in on a 3.42 gear 26 inch tall tire:confused:
 
It means you'll see 85mph a little higher in 3rd than say my GN with the 28" and 3.42.
