TE 60

When utilizing the stock exhaust housing on a TE60 is the stock turbine used as well? I've pulled apart several stock turbos and the turbine on my 60 is larger in comparison to stock. I thought only the compressor wheel / housing and backing plate were swapped and the rest remained stock?? It appears someone modified the exhaust housing to fit the larger turbine also.

Nope, the 60 uses the same wheel as 44/49 IIRC T31 wheel.

Thats good to know. I’m guessing that you have to modify the stock garret exhaust housing to fit the larger wheel?
