hey guys, i have a 87 gn with 130K- the main bearings went so im pulling the motor for a complete rebuild, im using the stock block- stock crank- forged rods, forged pistons, GM lifters, and 1.5 roller rockers on the insides. im going to port and polish the stock heads as much as they will go. im looking to get in the low 10s with the car- its my weekend driver. will a TE-63-1 be ok for the strip with some weekend trips down the road? i have a 12" 3000 stall right now, i have a hotwired pump and ill be using 50# injectors with razors alky kit and a turbotweak chip. thanks guys.
