So back to the original question here. Just because the compressor wheel on both of these turbos are the same size looking at them in these pictures, does not mean that the TE45's compressor wheel is a 66mm like the CPT66BB, making it a TE45A. Is this correct or would I have to measure the compressor of the TE45 turbo with the compressor cover off?
If you measure the turbo on the right and it measures 66mm [~2.6"] then YES! - you have a TE45A...... which is a 66mm P-Trim with an E cover
