Patrick, could you get into more detail what the difference is between the S cover, and S cover with ported shroud??? Is the ported shroud available on the 6265??? And what sort of benefits could one expect?

S cover has a standard straight 4" inlet that tapers smoothly to the inducer of the compressor wheel.

S cover.

The S ported shroud cover has an anti surge ring or ports machined into the inlet. These ports or slotted rings help to eliminate surge under part or half throttle conditions.

S ported shroud with slotted rings. AKA milled style

Yes the ported shroud S cover is available on the 6265 turbo. Benefits are dramatically reduced surge under partial or half throttle conditions. Increased longevity of the turbocharger.
Hope this helps.
