recently installed a te60 instead of my ta49. I had lots of trouble with the oil return line for the turbo not being long enough. I bought a new one(long as they make) from espperformance products and then its way too tight mounting the wastegate on too. I finally got in in there by appying large amounts of pressure and now the wastgate rubbed another hole in this return line. I've about giben up. How do all you guys run bigger than a 49 and not have trouble with the oil return line and wastegate having enough room? thanks

I've read quite a bit about the braided return lines not fitting. Seems that whoever supplies the vendors makes them *just long enough*. I was not happy with the fitment of mine (ATR) when I installed my 61, so I just reused the stock one.
Best be would be to buy some braided line and fittings and make your own. Pay very close attention to the threads (course/fine) though, as the fitting on the engine side is very soft! After looking at my ATR line, the fitting they supplied was wrong.

When I had to re-clock my turbo for a frontmount it was nearly impossible to get the ss braided oil feed back on. I took it to NAPA and a very skilled machinist there heated it and gave it a little more bend at the top steel tube. Now is fits great.

thanks for the replys. Does anybody make a stock type longer turbo oil return line that anybody knows of?thanks
