TE61 and 2800 stall

I have a TE61 and a 9X11 2800 conv. My engine is just about ready to go back in,should I get it restalled to 3200 or so or leave it as is? It was set up for 2800 with stk turbo.

Thanks Mike! I just sent u an email earlier about A piece for Harland Sharp rockers. I lost one of the hold downs the mounting bolts go through.

if the stall is just sitting on the trans with no motor in there then , restall it to 3200 for sure. 2800 isn't near enough imo for a 61. It will be laggy from a stop.

I've got a GT61 with a smaller 31E exhaust wheel, which spools faster than a regular TE6152 or GT6152, with a 2700 stall, and it could use a bit higher stall, so I say with the TE61 I would go ahead and restall it. If you have a small exhaust wheel, then 3000 should be good..if you have a 52 exhaust wheel, go up to 3200.
