Tech Inspection

True story. I went to a track a few weeks ago.I've been there before but not often.I got the car off the trailer and got in line at the tech lane.Filled out the card and waited for my turn.This fellow boomer comes over takes the card and does the walk around.Counts lug nuts,looks for leaks,checks under the hood for puke tank,reaches in window tugs on seatbelts and up till now hasn't said a word.He sees my helmet and picks it up.Now he speaks.He says helmet stickers are good for 2 yrs.He's looking at my nice aria open face with quick release buckle.He turns the helmet over and starts pulling the liner up looking for the sticker.Now i know theres only 1 sticker in there.He found it.He just chuckled and said some of these rules go a little overboard as he signed the tech card.I just stood there grinnin cause that sticker said 1975.
