My battery recently died on me and I went and got a new one. I got the new battery in and turn her over and she fires right up. Then after 1 second of running it quits. I tried it again and it did the same thing. The third time I tried it just cranked but wouldnt fire. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Your IAC looks way high.

During crank / no ignition ref pulses, the IAC parks at high numbers. High being whatever the chip is programmed to do, some might be as low as 50 some at 175, with the engine not running.

Not that I know of. What is the procedure?

I am not going to say the procedure online. And if you happen to remember that it does, don't post it online either. With that said.

Have you ran the car with this chip before? What you describe is the thrasher antitheft stoping the car from starting.

If you want send me an email and I will tell you the antitheft procedure.

Scott Simpson posted it numerous times, there is a chart to breakdown what features the chip has. You can do a search for that and then look at the marking on your chip to compaire.
