To rebuild powermaster master cylinder; or to do the exchange thing at autozone?? dont really want to go vacuum. are the acumulater and pressure switch new or just tested to see if good?

my PM is staring to sound funny also ..i am more likey to do the autozone ..

if i'm correct the motor and pump do not come with it,all that is wrong with mine is that it is leaking internal like a bad master cylinder;........... rebuild kit $35.00 autozone $150.00
witch is better

DAN, you have to give them a core back thats why i called it the exchange thing

I have a good master cylinder w/ a bad pump, which has a new switch and accumulator from autozone, I would sell for cheap, all you would need is the pump, The p. switch and accumulator have like 10 miles on them.

I paid about $200 for mine and kept the core. :)

If it's real bad and you don't want to rush the rebuild I would slap in an Autozone one and do a meticulous rebuild for a spare.

My meticulous rebuild is waiting for a miracle however. :D

powermaster

I've got the Autozone unit and it comes complete with new
switch and acummulator, lifetime warranty too.
It's been working fine so far, no problems :)
Make sure you check the number stamped on the rod that
connects to the brake pedal, needs to match with new unit
or brakes won't work right
