sorry i know this is a dumb question to all the veterans of these cars but what is the difference and what are they used for dump pipe vs. test pipe. thanks

Test pipe is used to replace the cat (removal of cat). Dump pipe is used to dump the exhaust before cat (w/removal of cap - manually or electronically). The test/dump piece incorporates both in one (replaces cat and allows for manual/electrical dump option).
