Testing the water C3 rear housing

A close bud of mine cracked the housing in his 71 Stingray..He has yet to find out what happened.
I was hoping I may be able to help him price or locate parts..He has been very helpfull to the TR cause for me and another TR owner.
Was thinking there might be some Vette owners around here..
