What options do we have using a th350 since a modulator controls shift points, is a manual valve body the only way? I would rather have it shift on its own, is that possible?

Thanks
Bill

I have had 2 -th350 in 2 different cars and i loved them. i had manual valve bodys in both ,but my brother had one that shifted itself with a check valve in that vacuum line for the modulator.

Yes thats possible. Call Chris at CK Performance he has a set-up to replace the vaccum modulator without having to go to a manual valve body. He sent me one with a modified valve body. I never installed it as I ended up taking the 350 out.

I ran the 350 briefly by using a check valve and a tee. I put a small hole in a short plugged line coming of the tee to bleed the vacuum slowly. Forgot what size hole, had to play with it a bit to get it right. Worked good like that, though it just didn't seem like quite the right way to do it. Wish I could give you a more intelligent answer as to how the new parts work.
