TH400 questions cuz im worried

is it worth putting a TH400 in the Monte carlo SS im gettin? the car is actually a 87 and i wanna jus make a even trade for my TH400 for a 200R4....the car would be a daily driver, but how bad would the car be with a 3spd and 3.73's? help guys...i dont have enough money for a new transmision.just to trade.

If you have a 200r4 in the car I would leave it there.Your not going to like that 3 speed on the street.
