I'm getting ready to build a turbo 400 and the only thing I have to decide is a Switch Pitch or Lock Up and stall rpm's
This is going in a 99% street car and looks like only about a $400 difference.
Anyone running these setups and if so how do you like them?
Also The high stall on the Switch Pitch is 4000, can that be too much stall?
Thanks,
Scott

You need to cotact Jim at

pae enterprises

He has been building t400s with slip pitch converters up to 5000 stall. You stall will dependant on where your engine makes the most power, which is cam and turbo size related. Yes you can have too much stall if its out of the engines power band.

The 11" with billet parts is $595, up to 5000 stall.

Thanks norbs,
I know they make a 4000 12" stall that runs about $300 but wasn't sure if that would bee too much stall. I made 583 ft lbs at 3600 rpms.
I'm still looking for more info on the precision lock-ups.

I had the set up poston sells didn't work right for me and wouldn't stall past 2000 rpm.
