I forget...On my TH400 which fitting on the passenger sit is the inlet and outlet for the tranny fluid? I'm routing lines back to my cooler and always seem to forget this?

well its not the first time i have been wrong. but does it really matter all tht much, unless u have a thermostaticly controlled cooler as long as the fluid os flowing and air is flowing over it it does its job. i understand that the hot fluid shoud enter the bottom but does it really efffect the coling capacity tht much ?

should not affect the cooling either way

mount the cooler with the lines at the bottom and it wont matter which is in or out unless your running a temp sensor fan cooled unit then you want the sensor on the inlet side

Ok, my trans cooler is mounted in front of my radiator, with an inlet on the passenger side upper (facing the grill looking at the engine), and passenger side lower side of the cooler. So one is above the other inlet/outlet to the cooler. It would seem to me I would want to use gravity to my benefit....Lower tranny hose to upper trans cooler fitting, upper tranny hose to lower cooler fitting?
