i noticed on my thdp, that the arm that controls the puck, doesnt completely close. if i wiggle it abunch of times itll close, but itll stick the next time again.

i've pulled the dp off and the puck moves freely, theres no sign of it hitting anywhere.

i installed it again and almost right away it would not completely close.

if i loosen it from the turbo its fine, but once its snugged up, it refuses to close.
any ideas tips anything????

Hey! Same problem here..I havent noticed the car having any problems with it though..seems to fun ok..spools ok..not the best but ok...mine works freely when off the turbo..cant make it jam or stick but when i bolt it up I can work it open & shut & sometimes it will hang & wont shut..have to wiggle & pull back to get it unjammed...Ive never heard of anyone else having this problem so I though maybe nothing was wrong..probably couldnt get anyone to do anything about it & I wouldnt have known if I could do anything myself to help it.
Well let us know what you do to fix it & if it seemed to really help any..

This was happening to me ,,my problem was my TE61 had the hole opened up more the the puck size,so the puck would partialy fall/wedge into the hole ,,it was a cheap pipe THDP so I sold it and called TH for a new pipe with the 1.5 puck,,maybe you need that size..

I have had my THDP for four years and it has done the same thing you are describing from day one. When setting the boost, i just learned to pay attention and make sure the arm is straight down and not cocked over toward the pass side. Works for me.
