I remember the 60's from 64 to 70.. It was wild in the Boston Area.
You had cruise locations at Burger joints in almost every town.
They all ran 4 speeds & you could hear the gear banging all night long off in the distance near where I grew up. On Sunday nights Dad would drive us out to the North shore of Boston. It was a peanut gallerry of cars backed up against the wall facing the Atlantic ocean!
The racing took place on the Lynn marsh road near the general Electric plant.
Saw a 68 Judge & 60 vette do battle
saw many stop light races Big fords going against Big Mopars.
This video is good but the cars back then were not as pretty as the ones they showed in the clip.
