Thanks for the link Chuck.

I couldn't see if this car had t-tops or not. I saw the interior lights on the sail pillar in the back, but I wasn't sure if this was a T-top car or a sunroof car.

Also, how did this car get 158 miles on it and still keep it's factory plastic on it?? I get a funny feeling this car may have been registered. Is that a state inspection sticker on the windshield?

Still an interesting video and something to keep in my collection.

dealer/owner saved the plastic and put it back on for sale time. This is not the first time that this has happened. "The Holy Grail" of Turbo Regals would be a solid roof, I would think. Kirban's once had a Turbo regal for sale with at least several thousand miles on it with the plastic on the steering wheel. It was not implied, however, that the plastic steering wheel protector had been on the car it whole life.
You could probably go to any dealership and get a steering wheel protector, and somebody makes those plastic seat protectors for current new cars for sale.

The car has a valve cover breather on the passenger side valve cover.

Very good eye. So used to mine I guess I think it's factory. :)

Is anybody naer them that can check the car out in even closer detail? Also would be interested in what they are asking for this car.

Along with the other questions I had up top.

I live about 10 minutes away from there. If someone was seriously interested, I would go and look at the car for them.

I don't believe that ANY '87 GN left the factory with a breather on the P/S valve cover due to emissions requirements.

I could very well be wrong, but every new one I ever saw (and I looked at several of them back in '87) had the little tube setup routing the fumes back into the motor.

Anyone here ever see one BONE STOCK back in '87 other than with the emissions control device on the P/S valve cover?

The passenger side is supposed to have a closed system that routes the fumes back to the inlet bell on the turbo. Actually, when I got my car it DID have that still there.

I was just making a joke that I've had my car so long that I've grown used to the chrome breather being 'original'.

I did not see the pic but if you are talking abouyt a K&N type breather in the p/s vc is NOT stock. Stocks was a black metal pipe from the p/c vc gromit to the nipple on th eback of the turbo to reburn the vapors back into the turbo. it is illegal to vent oil vapors from an engine to the atmosphere (from the factory that is)

Thanks for the link. Man, when he started filming the interior it was like I was watching "The Blair Witch Project" or something:D !

I would love to be able to buy it so I could be the very first to

COVER THE QUARTER PANELS IN MELTED RUBBER!!!

"Original air in the tires.........." That line killed me!!:D

Possibly a DEMO that only a certain type of buyer got to test, maybe.
If that was a reg sticker I wonder if it was registered to the dealership owner or a salesman from the dealership who kept it.Interesting though. And still looked like a very resto if not original.
