Force Fed Buicks Motors
I have diven a Turbo Regal as a daily driver on and off for the last 8 years and they are great. Most of these cars were basic recipe cars that were running in the lows 12's or capable of it. They still get mid 20's gas milage and they actualy ride decent if you keep up the suspension. They have all been very reliable and I have driven them all over the place. My wife drives a Grand Prix GTP. The super charged motor is a great motor that is only stifled by a weak trans axle in a FWD. These cars (GTP GS) are being pushed into the 13's quite easily now. And some guys are going alot farther. I hate to see the Regal go, but history has been rewriten by the turbo Regal so the legacy is there. They are one of the few cars GM allowed to be faster than the Corvette. Of course the Chevy guys didn't think Buick could do it. Those of us who have the turbo cars, whether daily drivers or show cars are going to see the value of these cars go thru the roof in the next couple years as they turn 20 years old and beyond. Buicks focus simply changed as time went by after the RWD days. Just putting my two cents worth in.
