I have been watching speedvision all day(the american muscle car marathon),and the series "the last stingray" is on in its intirety.I got to thinking,i wonder what ever happened to the "last GN" ?You know the story in the turbo regal handbook. Is it still around?

Well damn!The plot thickins!!

I just wonderd if the car that the dealer recieved was still around, the one that al the employees signed the turbo shield.I believe the car that officially went down the line should be the last one,no matter the vin.I mean they were shutting off lights and power after every stage of the build, shutting down the plant in the process,if that is not the last car,i dont know what was.......:D

i am with you dude

IMO, the last car BUILT is indeed, the LAST CAR BUILT - no matter who got the last VIN.

To be the last car built means just that - not ONE more GN was built after the "LAST ONE" was assembled.

I think the dealer has the TRUE last car built.

I have seen the dealer's car at World of Wheels.
He had the movie showing the car going down the line.
I remember there were parts that were signed by the employees.

Was this recient?I would go to the World of Wheels to see it,along with the same old sheet that has been in it for 25 years...:p

I just wondered if it was still around,in a museum,or was lost over the years...They should have it at the musclecar museum in TN.,mainly because its not but 3 hrs from me.....
