Well there are now 3 G-body's on the property. I just picked up an '86 El Camino. I'm now in the process of learning about the Elco's. Anyone have any good sites on the G-Body El Camino's that they could recommend?

Thank you

The beds rust at the front. The tailgates are galvanized coated. I had an 81 and liked it. I put an 80 Grand Am front clip on it with Pontiac Rallye IIs and a Pontiac dash, houndstooth covered buckets. Sharp 15 years ago.

Those cars remind me of dudes with pony tales wearing faded Jean jackets listening to bad company or something, must be a child hood thing lol...anyway I think there's a member on the board just-plain-john who's into them and might be helpful to ya...unlike me

I'll bet that was sharp.

So far they seem to be pretty cool vehicles. This one is a good driver.

Well I've been driving the Elky for about a month now & took a few pics. Had to work out a few small bugs here & there, plus added new tires. Its a fun vehicle to drive! To bad they were never offered with a turbo V-6.

Good Luck with your new ride! I had a few elcamino`s and one gmc sprint. I always like the little storage space behind the seat.

I'm doing an LS2/4L60E conversion on 1....A fairly easy swap.....[Was a v-sicks].
