My GN is due for emmisions in June.....never had a problem before. The only thing that has changed is I have recently installed a power plate (it is drilled), 50 lb injectors and a turbotweak chip for the 50's.

Eric states clearly that it is NOT an emissions chip. I still have the stock chip but i'm not sure if the car will even run with it with the 50's, so should I just bolt on the cat and give it a try?

If that turbotweak chip is an open loop chip, then probably not. I think Eric burns emissions chips also. I guess i should email him and get some specifics, so I can answer your question better.

yeah, its open loop at idle. Any other tricks beside spending the $ on an emission chip?

The other problem I read is that the EGR is deleted to make room for other performance features. Eric builds an emissions chip and so do a few others on the board.
