Poor car.... parts on ebay

That will buff right out ;)

I wonder how hard the car was hit to do that?

Quite a bit worse than my first 87 gn (70k mile) that was rear ended and totalled by both insurance cos. I was hit at about 35 -40 mph(t-top car), dead square on by a small body blazer. Depending on the size of the other vehicle, I would say that was a 45-50 mile an hour hit. I don't ever see it being "right" again.

This is the kind of thoughts we deal with everyday...Technology has come a long way. If properly repaired by a good tech, it will be better than it was originally (remember how bad our body offset is?).

If you've ever bought a new car, there's a good chance it has already been worked on. Alot of new cars are damaged in shipping and are repaired with zero miles. You'd be amazed...

Ever seen what a loose chain does to a car? Hail damage during shipping? We even straighten frames on cars that were tied down to tight during shipping.

Don't mistake "new" for "perfect"

You might want to wet sand it first LOL
Anything is fixable but is it worth it? It would have to be a verry low milage car and remember i think a wrecked title car is only worth 1/2 of blue book when your done:rolleyes:

It's amazing how the rest of the car is basically untouched. I'm not sure if a unibody car would have come out without a lot of bending and buckling in other places.

That can be clipped. My car was hit in the back on both sides. Not as bad - I was able to save the decklid and trunk floor. My car has a salvage title, too. That car is worth saving, but you just have to be careful how much you put into it.

Oh yea I run a Buick Dealership bodyshop so I wasnt kidding about the "I can fix it"!!!
