Turbos are fun :D

That's why in an effort to keep my Mustang interesting I'll have to do something to increase it's performance. Check out this kit:

Seems expensive, but I was thinking after I had someone custom fab all the exhaust and coat it, plus buying the parts, I'd be close to the price of doing it myself. What do you think? Buy the kit or build myself? I'll be honost, I'd like to do something a little different. It seems everyone is supercharging their classic Mustangs...

GO 4 IT!
You can blow them all away when they ask you if you are running SC or NOS :)

It would be nice to talk/see someone in your area who has installed one.

Well, the Aug Hot Rod convinced me. The difference btw the dyno numbers were outstanding especially considering the turbo wasn't intercooled. My only real question is whether I make the kit myself or buy it completed.

Like everyone else said, go for it. My brother has a '93 Cobra that he is still waiting for his kit. He ordered a twin turbo kit from ITS and it's been about 6 months. Before them he had a kit on order from TDC and it took 9 months for him to get his money back. If you're going to buy from a place like these go to PTK or HP Performance(I think that's their names). They're on turbomustangs.com. I think they both say around 30 days and I haven't seen too many complaints. Good luck.

Yeah, that link is for HP Performance. They look like the best option so far.

Thanks for the website www.turbomustangs.com it looks like a great site capable of answering my questions.

THanks!

My buddy has a turbo technology race kit (no a/c or p/s will fit with it) its all stainless steel with a t-70 turbo was bought about 6 years ago for 4500 it has all 3" piping i believe for the turbo and intercooler, was used for about a week or so and the motor popped. Has been sitting ever scince. I could probably git it for around 2800 or so, complete. No fuel management system or ignition. we bought it without them. This is their better kit with 3: downpipe and HKS wastegate also, not the cheap kit with the small crappy bent pipes.
Email with any questions. I can try to get pics for you. If not i will be putting it on ebay

Thanks, but I have to do some suspension modification first. I may have to remove the shock toweres and go with a Mustang II type front suspension.
