another thing that might work would be some hefty trade and travel sanctions like we've had on Cuba for a half a century.. tax any money sent there from here via money transfer companies like Western Union at a rate of 1000%.. make the entire border a live fire training range for our military.

then if the good people in Mexico want to do trade with us and get our tourist dollars, they can take control and clean house.
