that is a killer pic! one of the best pictures i have seen online in a while. very cool.

i do hope none of my firefighter firends ever fall in to a pool while fighting a fire!

my freshman football coach fell through the roof of a house while fighting it.

That is a similar type of training we as navy pilots go thru, we go thru a helo dunker and a cockpit trainer wearing blacked out goggles, flightsuit and boots, it basically trains us on how to get out of an aircraft that has plunged into the water at night. The cockpit trainer has us all strapped in with the harness, and the helo dunker is done with like 8 people at a time, kinda sux getting kicked in the face as you all try to go thru the same door, but over all these types of training are very useful for when you find yourself in these precarious (sp) positions.

That guy knew guy knew where your face was. He just got a good kick in while you couldn't see. :)

Just kidding, that sounds like really interesting training.

Good Training!

I also went through the Helo Dunker School, really good training to say the least. You will never know when a Phrog "CH-46" or CH-53 will go down over water, or any air craft for that matter.

Better safe than sorry:) and yes, the ole foot in the face can really tick you off.
