My uncle bought this car for me 2000 miles from here and told me it had a posi rear end. The code in the trunk is G87. When I look under the car how do I tell if it is posi or not?

G80 is the tag for posi.

spin one wheel with the car in the air...if the other one spins the same way you have posi, if it goes the other way you don't

G87 is the code for the 8.5 axle. Look for GU6 for 3.42 ratio and G80 for limited-slip.
