No need for a conspiracy theory. Read the ad - he says "custom" - "TTA with a T/A body" - maybe better said as T/A with a TTA drivetrain but it doesn't look like he's deceiving anyone.

Not sure what you want for 10k in a TTA but you're looking at one with some miles, mods or defects in that price range. Depends on what you want. Good luck.
