O.K.

I've read that this maybe too steep without overdrive...

Is it? Or can the 350 handle these gears?

What are the positive or negative results?

I dont have the th350C but i have a non lock up th350 in my car. i noticed no gas milage differance on the freeway if I drive the speed limit (70) car turns about 2,800-3,000 with a 28" tall tire.

What rear gear ratio you have?

Based on calculated info here's what I come up with:

I need a lot of help in this area....I am relativley dumb in this dept.

Tires: 235/60R15=26.10 diameter

Rear Axle in the near future=3.42

Using a calculator, at 75-MPH the RPM's I'm getting are 3,305.

As it stands right now with a 2.41 rear axle I'm getting 2,329.

Duh....does this mean I'll be wasting more gas?

And If I am, at the very least will I gain some performance?
