This company has no tech assistance so maybe someone has tried this install. Here is my question:
For the street application this kit says to install only two of the check balls, (the OEM app comes with five). It does'nt say whether to discard the other three or place them back in. (Just out of curiosity, should I replace the OEM nylon checkballs with steel ones)?
It also says to torque the valve body to 100 lbs!
OEM service manual states only 13 lbs. (Being made of aluminum I'm guessing that 100-lbs is sure to break something or at the very least strip the threads on the case). You Trans pros ever tried this, or am I being anal-retentive?
By the way, here's B&M's website statement, (have a good laugh)!
Why B&M doesn't have e-mail...We choose to avoid the casual, chat-style format so we can focus on meaningful Customer dialogue. We care about providing our Customers with the most well thought out, accurate product information we can give...
This is an oxymoron. Why have a website then? Spend more money and call them long distance they say? This is so they can keep you holding for electronic messaging. Leave them a message so they can never call you back. This company sucks royally!!
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
