Well this is just my opinion on the turbo deal and with some other opinions mixed in as well.
- Precisions quality leaves a lot to be desired and is also why I stopped using them long ago.
- Turbonetics quality seems to be better but also hear horror stories of inconsistent quality over the years due to changing ownership and other things.
- Turbonetics technology has really fallen off over the last 10 years. Looks like they are trying to gain some ground from the recent Sema announcments I have read. Maybe this merger will help that along faster.
- Both Turbonetics and Precision are just good copies of the real deal, So in other words Garret and Borg have really stepped up in the performance market and would be just about imposible to compete against there engineering resources and have offered some real impressive performance from each of there new wheel designs. Turbonetics once told me it cost them 20G's+ to generate a turbo map and is why you won't see them often from Precsion and Turbonetics and probably don't have the internal resources to make them.
- Borg does not cater to the 3 bolt turbo market so unless you are buying a custom unit than your stuck with there catalog offereings but on the other hand seem to be the best balance between price and performance and offer superior durability in my opinion.
