I see I dont think there will be a problem, the thrasher turns the fan on at 170 so it will just be on a lot... right...???

Yes, the fan will be on a lot, but the thermostat will keep 200+ degree water in the block. It will probably knock. I'd say hold off until you get the thermostat in.
