Does everyone here recomend pluging the coolant lines that go to the throttle body? I'm going to flush my coolant system and replace the hose's and was wondering what the pros and cons are. Thanks Hal:confused:

I haven't looked at one on a tr, but if it's the same thing on a 4th gen fbody, then sure. Bypass it. All it would do is keep the intake from icing up in very cold weather. I've had mine off for years on my fbody and had no problems. Also haven't heard of any problems with other fbodies. As far as the pro's, hot coolent running through the throttle body would add heat to incoming air. And we all know that colder air is more dense and will get you some more hp.

I've got mine blocked too. Even when I lived up north I never had a problem even in the coldest winter weather. I think the factory put them on just to meet emissions and maybe a small driveabilty issue.

Mine is blocked off as well, no problems at all even in the cold weather.

no problems

I have mine blocked and everthing is normal, and does seem to run a little better after it is warmed up.
