Throttle Body

Im going to be going down to St. Petersburg, Fl. which is not to far from Sarasota. Isnt that where Dave from S&S/GNT (or is it turbomotion) is?
I had purchased my V1 intake from him a couple years back and knew that he was going to sell ported hotair TBs. Is he still doing them? If so how to get in touch with him now days? It would be cool if I was able to get one while I was down there.

Anyone try using a larger TB from any other cars?

Jay Jackson (YGETV8) ports both '84-'85 as well as '86-'87 style throttle bodies, if I'm not mistaken. This would be another alternative for you.

Also, if you need a good core for the effort, I have a mint 35,000 mile '84-'85 throttle body I no longer use.

Thanks Rob, that may be what I will have to do. I do remember hearing about Jay Jackson.
However, no one knows anything about the guys down in Florida? The phone numbers I have must be old, because they dont work. It would be easier than sending TBs through the mail if I could catch up with them down there.

If I'm not mistaken, the TB on the stock 84/5 GN/TRs are a bigger diameter than the 86/7s...I'll have to check that out...

Seems like people are having trouble getting ahold of TurboMotion...

Jay Jackson does them, but you have to send yours in to be worked...I think he had posted something recently about not having any cores on hand to ship out finished so there won't be any down time...
