Throttle Cable?

The throttle cable in my 96 Impala is too long and has a different connector on the end than the Buick throttle cable.
Does anyone know what's involved in changing or modifying the throttle cable?
Is there a company somewhere that makes custom throttle cables?
Thanks.

Lokar makes custom cables, as far as swapping end types, I'm sure some shops know how and its possible but I don't off the top of my head.

Try using the throttle cable from a 91-93 tbi 305 or 350 powered Caprice. It should be significantly shorter, but have the correct connection for the firewall and gas pedal. TBI throttle cables attach to the throttle body lever the same identical way the cable attached on the Turbo Regals.
As an fyi, the 86-87 intercooled turbo Regals shared their throttle cables with the more common generic NA 3.8 carbureted engines.

check the go fast and chrome asile at autozone, i bought mine there, it is a universal cut to fit and it worked perfect.also it has a braided finish
